Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

Chicken cordon bleu is always good. The chicken, the ham, the cheese…. yummy! But what a pain to make. Pound out the chicken. Roll everything up without it falling out. Keep it rolled up. Bread it. Cook it without it coming apart. Whew, I’m exhausted just writing that! This recipe is for a cheat way to make EASY chicken cordon bleu. Seriously, easy. It takes about 25 minutes to make this, and not much of that is active cooking.

Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu
Course: Main Dish
Cuisine: One Pan Meals
Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  1. In large skillet, combine broth, vinaigrette, and pepper
  2. Add in chicken breasts
  3. Cover and cook over medium heat until chicken is done, flipping as needed
  4. Reduce heat to low
  5. Top each chicken with a slice of ham and cheese each
  6. Cover skillet until cheese melts
