Easy French Toast Recipe

Every now and then we have a loaf of bread that is starting to get old, so we use it all up by making French Toast for breakfast. My recipe for French Toast comes from my dad and the way he always made it when we were growing up. I don’t think we’ve changed it at all since then, either!

Servings: 4 servings
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 slices bread
  1. Heat flat skillet over medium heat

  2. In a wide, shallow bowl combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla

  3. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides and place on skillet for 2-3 minutes

  4. Flip bread once slightly browned and cook other side for 2-3 more minutes until desired doneness
